An elegant engraved iris flower is featured on this vintage Japanese black and silver chrome compact by Nacon, with pale pink face powder and sifter within, circa 1960s.

The pretty compact simulates the appearance of Japanese damascene, and has an etched black steel lid, with engraved flower and chrome base. 

It also contains a mirror, a bit of loose face powder that has a faint pink blush, a net sifter, a removable metal ring which locks into place, and original satin topped powder puff signed “Nacon”.

It measures approximately 3 inches round, has a locking clasp, and is marked “Toyko Nacon Japan” at the base of the mirror within.
